Nominate a Veteran

Veteran Nomination: How it Works

Please use the online form on this page to nominate a post-9/11 disabled combat veteran to receive a service dog through our organization. Got Your Six K9 receives many nominations for deserving veterans. While we appreciate the service and sacrifices of all of the nominees, our resources do not allow us to provide a service dog to each one of them. If you nominate a veteran to receive a service dog, our team will confirm that we received your nomination. We may then contact you or the veteran to gather more information as part of the vetting process. Once we choose a veteran to receive a service dog, we will arrange with the veteran for delivery of the dog at a time and location that is convenient for the veteran. Our team will also remain on site to conduct a handler training course with the veteran. Thank you for your nomination.
